Background

Alyssa grew up in the Seattle area, but she felt most at home in the backcountries of the North Cascades and Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. After earning her Associates degree in Business, and working in accounting, office, and project management, she transferred to the University of Montana. Post-graduation, she spent six weeks backpacking and kayaking all over the state of Montana while taking four field courses on conservation with Wild Rockies Field Institute. She enjoys research, problem-solving and process improvement. She is excited about being a part of the Bank of Montana team!

Interests

Alyssa enjoys trail running, mountain biking, skiing, and reading. She is an ultra-light backpacking gear nerd (e.g., keeps spreadsheets containing the weight of each piece of gear down to the ounce).
