Background

Banking runs in Emilie’s blood.  She was born and raised in Ekalaka, Montana where both her father and grandfather served as bank presidents.  She has over 17 years of banking experience (over 15 years with Bank of Montana!) starting as an intern processing loans and performing credit analysis, but quickly began building her foundation in the daily operations of the bank including (but not certainly not limited to!) bank telling, deposit accounts, BSA, internal bank financials, customer service and still dabbling with residential loan origination when needed! Prior to working at Bank of Montana, Emilie worked at her hometown bank in Eastern Montana.

Interests

Emilie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys. The Johnston’s are ardent fans and supporters of all things Montana Grizzlies.
